I am studying in the West Coast University, I’m studying nursing right now, and I’m planning to work at the hospital as a nurse, if everything goes as I planned I will wok as a surgical nurse, but later on I am going to do my masters, as nurse practitioner . I enrolled in this school because back in my country , in Armenia, I was studying in medical university, I didn’t finish there, and this was the fastest program in medical field as a good job and I like it. if you need any info let me know .

For many students, the rough draft week is the week they suddenly become suspiciously busy. Things that have languished on the to-do list for months suddenly become top priority in an effort to avoid having to sit down and write the rough draft, which can feel quite intimidating. Life after graduation is hard to think about when your barely dipping your toes in the water. After careful thought and consideration, I finally decided to go back to school. I enrolled in school to begin a career that I would be happy with. I decided that it was time to put my anxieties aside, and pursue my goal.

Barely starting the program, it is hard to imagine life after graduation. However, with a blink of an eye, the day will come. After graduation, I believe my life will barely be starting. I will dive head first into beginning my rewarding career. I plan to work for a good hospital, that has wonderful doctors that are the best of their peers.

This may sound like wishing of a star, and it may not be easy, but I believe that the abilities I learned from West Coast University will help me succeed my goals. Being able to produce well written documents is essential in the career I am pursuing. I may be asked to produce narratives, patient care plans, or research assignments. This course is essential in learning the key process of APA, and really getting comfortable with writing and knowing who your audience is.

I have attached a link that describes different forms of writing assignments we may need to do as nurses one day. This shows different examples of why we must know who our audience is, and why we are performing certain tasks present day. I believe it will help get some clarity for those who don’t know why we need to write essays.

• Why have you enrolled in school?
  • I have enrolled at West Coast University in order to pursue my dreams of becoming a nurse. I withdrew out of my old university Mount Saint Mary’s. I wasn’t able to pass their program for nursing because the classes were overloaded in my first semester and I had no say in changing it because I had to follow through their program for “direct to nursing.” I tried changing my major and I did not like it to say the least. I felt like at least with nursing I had something to strive for, to work hard for. So that is why I came over to West Coast!
• What do you want to do after graduation?
  • I would like to become a pediatric nurse by the time I graduate at Children’s Hospital LA. I would like to give back to my community here in LA and I could do that in the hospital helping kids overcome their illnesses. I would also like to travel around the world, but that’s once I start making that bank!
• How will the ability to produce well-written documents help you to become more successful in achieving your goals?
  • The ability to produce well-written documents will help me to become more successful in achieving my goals as a nurse because I will be able to write a good cover letter + resume to land my job! The resume has to be perfect and show off all my skills to prove to my employer that I am right for the job.
• What types of writing might you be expected to produce in the role you hope to obtain after graduation?
  • I will be expected as a nurse to write down information about my patients and also paperwork that needs to be filled out. I will have to write down observations of my patients in order to see if they are surely recovering.
• What types of research might you need to conduct to be successful in this role?
  • I might have to research case studies and reports of different illnesses to be successful as a nurse.
